Router admin page

Connects to the router (the default gateway) on its usual administration ports and notes which answer. It never logs in and never tries a password.

What it finds

• A router whose admin page or remote-login port answers from where this device is

What it cannot find

• Whether the admin page accepts the factory password: this check never tries one
• Admin pages on other ports or on the router's other address
• Anything on the internet side of the router
