Bluetooth trackers
Listens for Bluetooth Low Energy advertisements and flags the ones that match known tracker families, especially any that keep appearing as you move.
What it finds
- A nearby tracker that is currently advertising
- A tracker that stays with you across several locations, which is the signal that matters
What it cannot find
- A tracker that is not advertising right now, including one still near its owner
- A GPS tracker that reports over mobile data and uses no Bluetooth
- A tracker whose battery is dead, which is still evidence but not a signal
- A tracker inside metal or heavy shielding
